This is a fifty port switch with TWO sets of 24 ports comprising the first 48 ports.
To monitor a port in the range 1-24, the mirrored port must also be 1-24.
Likewise to monitor 25-48 mirrored port must also be in 25-48.
You can confirm this in the hp management and configuration guide for 2650. Appendix B.
