HP 2000C-Out of paper error

My HP 2000C is giving me a out of paper error. There is more than enough paper in the printer. When this happens..I take the paper out and then put it back in and give it another try...Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt...When it doesnt work, i just unload the paper and put it in again and give it another shot. I have sprayed a Air Duster on the tray and it doesnt seem to help. Are there sensors somewhere in the printer? Maybe i missed the sensors when i sprayed...I have no idea..All i know is that its getting a real pain to try to print something.

Try cleaning the pick up roller with a solvent cleaner, if it has got dusty and has lost it's rubbery feel it won't pick up the paper and claim it is out. DEC

the paper lifter is more than likely broken call hp tech support or take it to a authrized service center
