Hp 2000-input tray error

Hi - im trying to install an HP 2000-sheet input tray (tray 4) on an 8150DN laserprinter. However, im receiving the error message "66.00.36 - please check cables and cycle power[/color red]".
I do know that neither the 8150 nor the connecting cable are faulty. The assumption then is theres a problem with the input tray itself - but what?
Any help greatfully received.

What model of the 2000 Sheet input tray have you attached ? Only the C4781A model (compatible accessories overview :

works with this printer.
Also check that you have the latest firmware installed on the printer by printing a configpage and comparing it to the latest available here :
