Hi All,
I've tried this on the official HPforum, but the URL keeps getting bounced back to me as unavailable, so who knows what problems there might be there!
I recently purchased a HP1510 All-in-one and the (long) software install went perfectly and the printer/scanner worked fine. However, I use a laptop and, after disconnecting the printer to use the laptop in a mobile situation, a fresh boot-up opens an HP dialog telling me that the install was unsuccessful. The only option is to follow the prompts and uninstall the software, or kill the dialog using Windows Task Manager (XP SP2). This has happened three times now, so it's no fluke.
The automatic fault repair (via the HP website) cannot repair the problem and, as I said earlier, I cannot get through to the HP forums.
Any ideas, anyone??
