hp 1320 printer error

The above printer error is preventing me from printing.
Does anyone know how to remove this error so the printer can
start working again?

I've tried turning the printer off and on, unplugging the printer,
turning the computer off and on, and I have the latest driver.

I can print a test page successfully but I can't print personal documents from Microsoft Word, for example, or from the Internet.

I receive this type of error on a regular basis and it always blocks the printing process for many days at at time.

The error will suddenly appear after a normal printing request, seemingly for no reason.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
From the user guide (found on software CD shipped with printer)

Attention light: Indicates printer media input tray is empty, print cartridge door is open, print
cartridge is missing, or other errors.

So basically check there's paper in the trays and none jammed anywhere, toner in the printer and doors closed.

If the light is blinking you might have selected a wrong paper format to print on and the printer will stop and await the correct paper format to be inserted.

Eventually try and check the EWS (Embedded WebServer if networked model) of the printer or Toobox diagnostic software to see what specific error is present.
