My HP 1220 Cse had been printing normally. I just loaded some pictures that had been stored on Zip disks onto the computer (Win98se,) converted one from Tif to Jpeg, and tried to print on glossy HP paper (first from Adobe Photoshop and then from Microsoft Photo Editor)(USB printer cable). In numerous tries it would only print the bottom 1/4 of the pictures at the TOP of the page. I checked and rechecked all the properties and settings. Correct paper was selected. I tested another jpeg file on regular paper and it printed correctly. Even though the print preview showed the picture in the correct place, it would not print there. Only by dropping the margin three inches or more would it print totally on the page. I had had the printer connected briefly to another computer via parallel port and that printing was correct. I had removed the parallel cable before printing with the USB. Is this a problem with the thicker paper? Is there a setting to change on the printer to accommodate this? (I don't find anything in their help files and my manual has disappeared.) Any help will be appreciated.
