HP 1215 Restarts

We have a HP 1215 Photosmart Printer and it is constantly turning itself off, losing communication with the computer and the turning itself back on. We have it hooked up to the computer by a USB port which goes through a HUB. It only stays off for a few seconds and turns right back on. Any ideas of what might be causing this?

Check if the interrupts (IRQ adresses / IO memory adresses) are corrupt by conflicting with another device or simply try using another USB port if available. Make sure you have the latest USB drivers and USB patches for windows installed.
