hp 1200c printer help

my hp printer 1220c just keep spitting out paper with nonsensical type across the top of the page, and won't print what I tell it to. I have turned it off-unplugged it but it won't stop-I could use any help-Thanks Lakenreich

You want to bring up the printer on your machine.
Look for "Printers and Faxes" where the printers are configured... I suspect if you open your printer you will find that the print job is still stuck in there... perhaps more

You need to clean out the whole queue by right clicking and canceling.

Also on the printer end you can try hitting cancel.

Once your queue is empty you should be ok.. power cycle your printer if need be.

If you cant seem to delete all the jobs in your queue and a job just sits at "deleting" try a quick reboot and see if that clears the queue.
