hp 1120c printer prints 5 pages and then prints blank pages and won't

I try to print 10 pages the 1120c prints only 5 pages and throws out the rest in garble like it looses memory

if it's connected to a serial port without handshake then
it might well be losing the info. you could make it handshake which in that case should solve the problem, or
slow down the print which is not a desirable way to go.

Otherwise it may be a problem in your printer settings or,
in fact, a problem in the printers memory.

If the connection is parallel then i would check the settings and printer memory. If you can test another printer
with the same report it might help narrowing down the problem.

Perhaps others will have some more suggestions
