Hp 1050C replace all printheads

I have a Hp1050c or it might be a 1055c. I was wondering if anybody else has had similar issues with theirs. It says to replace all the printheads. I have done that and it still says to replace them. I was wondering could it be the carriage or something like the cable that attaches ot the back of the moving printhead carriage. I like this plotter and it is only about 5 yeards old. I appreciate any help you might be able to share.
