Howto make a local domain in Windows NT4 server (english version)for users to acces the Windows NT 4.0 server from an another PC in my Local Area Network under Windows 9x. Please help.

(excuse for my bad English)

Tim from the Netherlands

You have to install NT4 on your server under the Primary Domain Controller choice. If you have already instlled as a member server, you will need to re-install.

You re-configure all you 9x machines to get their logon authentication from a Domain and also set their workgroup name to be the same as the name your gave your domain. You then create domain IDs for each of your suers so they have something to log in under.

I haven't lost my mind - I know it's backed up on tape somewhere ....
