Hello everyone
Today when I tried to unload Macfee Netshield it seemed to work fine but when I later tried to start Netshield again I got the message "This module is ALREADY loaded and cannot be loaded more than once", and when I looked in monitor under "loaded modules" I got this confirmed.

Is there any way of killing this module so it unloads from memory so I can load Netshield again without restarting the server ?

Hi,

Type Modules at the server console to get a list of the loaded modules. The modules will give you a breif description of what they are. It is possible that a supporting module is still loaded. Also, check to see if McAfee provides a NCF file to unloaf it's module and supporting modules (as astop id to ARCserve).

netShield generally only uses the one NLM - NETSHLD.NLM. Providing you unloaded it in the normal way (ie. from the NetShield screen) it should have unloaded properly. I would avoid unloading it from the server console as this may hang the console or crash your server should there be an issue with the NLM.

Toggle around your screens just to make sure it has definately unloaded.

It looks like it´s unloaded since the GUI is gone but when I try to load netshld.nlm again I get the message saying that it is already loaded and when I check the monitor it is still loaded.
