How would you update the rowsource of a chart in a report?

I get this Error:

Error #: 2455
You entered an expression that has an invalid reference to the property RowSource

eh, does a chart object have a rowsource property?

Yes it does, but returns the error above when attempting to change the chart's rowsource in code when opening the report. (This problem does not happen for charts in forms)

Actually i've solved it by creating an active query (a query with a function) as the rowsource.

Strange about this error though... Would be great is someone could solve that problem

You haven't shown us your code so we can't help much. It is difficult to set the Row Source property just as it is difficult to set the Record Source property of a subreport in the On Open event of the main report.

I generally change the SQL property of the chart's row source query prior to opening the report.
