Mr.A and Mr.B have 2616's and are in and out of their offices constantly.
Their calls forward to Ms.C's 2616 on no answer.
They want to have someone answering their calls like an attendant.
However, Ms.C is now having health issues and is out of the office more than she's there.
Rather than hire someone part time, they want Ms.D, Ms.E and Ms.F to do a group call pickup on their 2616's when they hear Ms.C's phone ringing. However, they can't transfer the call back when Mr.A or B walks back in or anywhere else (that would be three transfers).
What I need is another PC so I can set up application builder and make a menu- can't have one- don't ask.
I could bring the vendor to do that.
Or, do I put a ringing appearance of Ms.C's ext on Ms.D,E and F's phones and eliminate a transfer. But, then they have to know when she's not at her desk.
Any suggestions? I'm all ears.

You should be able to Transfer the call if they answer it.

If a phone is ringing and you use call pickup to answer it, then there is know reason why they can't transfer the call to someone else. They must be doing something wrong. There isn't any transfer involved once they do a call pickup, is jiust a regular call then.

you can transfer a call 32 times.. you can forward a call no more then 3 times

bfs works great for that.. i have a bfs key on my set for the other two techs that work in the switchroom. when they are out IF they are doing a project and i need to answer their calls i press my bfs.. that forwards their calls to me. under any other condition i would use pick or just let that go to mail

Thanks to bigindian65 and RS528. I used both their suggestions and it looks like it will work perfectly for the situation.
Sometimes you're looking for a complicated solution when a simple one will do.
