How would you assign a mac address to a port

Catalyst 1900. Need to configure a printer's mac address to fa0/24.

Thanks for the quick response! I goofed - it's the 2900XL switch and I tried the commands from the Cisco site

mac-address-table static mac-address interface

Once I enter this command and do a sh mac static is comes up correctly. My problem is as soon as I attempt the ping the ip address of the device - I get a dead reply. So I must be configuring the command incorrectly.
