How would i incorporate html code within my photoshop graphic

I created a simple text tool graphic in photoshop 7. the text tool graphic was a simple: Enter Site

saved that as a .gif image

Now i want to be able to code that Enter Site text in html so that it can be a link to the main navigation page.

please help.
