How will the TLU79 work with a FAX server for eFAX

Hello Guys,
My customer wants to have the efax functionality for there office using TLU79. They want to use Virtual Etensions for this purpose can somebody explain how will it work I have the route parameters but what I dont understand is why do we need to have virtual extensions for this purpose and how will this e fax thing work with a TLU79?.
What does inbound and outbound routing means in this scenario?
Please help me on this.

Could they mean a TLU76 and CASS extensions? That would sound more likely to me. They would then get a dialogic card for their fax server.

Hi,
I think a TLU76 can also be used in this scenario but we have to use a TLU 79,EDSS1 protocol.
A simislar config does also exist some where in EGHAM Surrey UK. Its also using a TLU79.
