Hi all,

please help me!!
I'm trying to query an SQL table using Microsoft access that contains a binary column. The problem is that my query returns wrong characters when I try to view the binary column.....How can I do?

please help me!

By binary I am guessing it has some sort of document or file in it?

You would have to use an ActiveX control on a form that is capable of displaying the data or convert it to readable form on the SQL Server side and link to that view or use an SQL Pass-through query in Access.

First of all thank you for your attention...then:

Do you say that there isn't an access function to disply the content of binary column?

What exactly are you expecting to see from the binary field?

Binary columns are usually used to store objects such as pictures, Word documents, etc. What is in yours?
