How use The Crystal Report viewer.... 1

Hi everybody, I am new using The crystal reports, and i am interesting in begin to use it. I want to use the Crystal report viewer activex to show some reports from a form of VB6. anybody can tell me how work this activex or where i can find more information about it?????. I have the cd information but still i cant to do this it woks.
My application will be a simple vb form that show some reports, and this will be in a local instalation.

I have another question too, i can indicate the parameters to use in one report (Variables) in execution time???
