I am using NNM 7.51 on Windows 2003. I am not familiar with Tomcat before. Now I would like to upgrade Tomcat that running by OV from embaded version 4.0.4 to newer version, I have Tomcat 5.0.28 binary files to replace current version. But I don't know how to upgrade it on Windows platform. Anyone please advise me. Thank you very much.

Hi,

I don't know how to do this, but I suspect that if you do this and then run in to issues with NNM, you will invalidate your support from HP.

If you have a requirement to do this, I would ask HP if there is a supported way to do this.

HTH.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Actually the purpose to upgrade is to harden NNM Server. The embeded version of Jetty is 4.0.4 which the expected version should be later than 4.2.19. I don't know how to upgrade it to pass the security check. I have already installed patch NNM_01140.
