I need to create a table of competitors “A”, “B” & “C” with different rates percentage. All competitors participate in Commercial and Medicaid programs.

So far I have 2 columns :Competitors’ & Rates

Competitors Rates

A 10.0 % com
B 12.5 %
C 75.5 %

A 65.5% med
B 78.5%
C 100.0%

The thing is that I have to turn around COM and MED values in the column “Rates” from horizontal way of presentation to vertical so that they “sit” onto the right column border line.

The problem is that "Rates" column should contain rates in %values horizontally and "med" & "com" values vertically.

I have no idea how to implement this kind of the formatting in Word 2007….

Could anybody explain me how to do it? Thank you !

Highlight the text, and right click.

then simply select 'Text Direction'

You may need to merge those cells to get this to display as you want - if so, highlight the three (?) relevant cells, right clickand select 'Merge Cells'.
