We are consolidating 6 AIX/oracl machines to 4, 2 of those will be new p520's.
Now Im ussually the one setting up the machines and another person does the testing. This person is not available now, so Ive been asked to write a Production Acceptation Test (PAT) document based on a Architecture Impact Analysis (AIA) and conduct the testing.
Now I have no idea where to start on this, to me it seems very abstract. Ive never had to do anything like this before and this company ussually atracts people from specialized companies to do this sort of thing. Internet hasnt been very helpfull either.
Anyone has any clues on how to do this? maybe some examples or documentation?
