How to write a macro to run FR View only

I need to write a macro in Excel that will run FR View from within Excel. There are several worksheets in the workbook that contain specs and I need to generate the statements and then run Excel code after the statements are generated. I approached the function by writing the macro in Excel and then opening a AccpacGL9100.AccpacMacro object and using CmdFRPrintEx. The CmdFRPrintEx is not working the way I want it to because it is the same as running the Print Finanical Statements dialog and that is not what I want to do. I want the macro to function the same as the FR View function in Excel.

I'm using Accpac 5.2 and have heard it's easier to write macros around the financial reporter than in earlier versions but can't seem to find info on using FR View.

I would greatly appreciate any help or a point in the right direction.

I have been trying to accomplish the same thing. I would like it if you were to let me know if you have figured out how to do this and if so could you post the macro. It would simplify the processes at month end. Thank you.
