Hello,

I use MS Project 2000 and want to wrap text in the "Task name" column. In Excel you simply do Format | Cells | Aligment | Wrap text.

How to do the same in the Project?
Can you please advice me?

Wrapping text is view specific, so you will need to wrap text for each view separately. Also, wrap text doesnt't work for all fields, but will work for task name, resource name, andsome others.

First, make the column you want to wrap the with you want. Then put the cursor on the bottom line in the task number, hold the left mouse button down, and drag down until the test wraps to suit you.

If you want to text wrap multiple lines, select each line to be wrapped (holding down the shift button to select contiguous rows, or the control key to select non-contiguous rows, and then drag down the bottom edge of any selected row number. There is a limit on how much text the title field can hold (255 characters?), so you can't write a book in a single Name field.
