We have jobs advertised 4 and 3 weeks before the bid openinng date.We donot have any way to know whether the job is advertised three weeks or four weeks.I am just wondering if there is a way around to indicate the job is four week advertised from the day it is posted until the bid opening date. the same is for three week ad. please help this is possible? It would have been easier this information is in our database unfortunately we do not have it.

You can do it in sql with the DateDiff() fucntion. In .NET, check the DateTime.Compare() method and the TimeSpan object.
