How to work with Active directory

Hi all,

How hard it is to work with Active directory? My current project will require for me to have a logon page and I am wondering if I could connect it to the Active directory if it is not that difficult. I google and do not find an example. please hlep me all the steps that I need to work with it. I am using asp.net 2.0 and my DB is oracle 9i. Please help me all the step that i need. like configuring the web.config file and the rest of the steps. thank you for the help.
