Hi Guys
I'm after a little advice, I'm trying to work out what price to charge customers for maintenance on there hardware?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Regards Skippy

Its normally a % of the original cost of their equipment.

Make contracts cover replacement kit and faults and minor shifts and changes.

anything out side of that remit, you should charge for either a remote dial in or call out.

Thanks HSM

What kind of percentage of the new kit?

regards Skippy

It varies I have worked for companies that charge anywhere from 20-40% of total cost per year

It kind of breaks down to what shape the equipment is in

You can have a sliding scale.

New Kit can be 20%
Older kit can be 15%
Real Old Kit can be 10%

It really how you want to model your business.
