how to view "fit page" as default

Hi,I am working with acrobat 8, how do I setup my viewing to be "fit to page" as default...as when the PDF is made, it opens to full blown size and Im always going to the fit to page option.

Preferences/page display/magnification.

Choose "fit page" from drop down menu.

For controlling display of pdfs sent to others: Open pdf and go to File menu/documents properties/initial view/magnification. Choose what you want for drop dpwn menu.
