I need to rename a file type to allow access through our mail server's antivirus software. This is a temp work-around until they allow zip files passage through our scan mail software.

In Win98, I could see and rename the file name and extension with no problems. In XP, I can't see the extension, or anywhere to allow the viewing of the extension.

Where can I turn on the viewing of the file type in XP?

Thanks
