How to view and acess the Memo field of Oracle(Urgent)

Hello Sir,
I am facing a problem like I am unable to view the Memo field (backend Oracle). I have to do some processing for that Memo field. Could you please clarify this doubt as soon as possible. This is very urgent for me.

I know this was urgent, sorry I did not see it until today. To view a memo field, use the substr() function in your Oracle SQL; "select substr(mymemo,1,150) Notes from ...".
Crystal will then be able to display it as a string.
 
P.S.
You can pass up to 254 characters in the substring before Crystal starts treating it as a memo field. Malcolm Wynden
