I'm using Lotus Domino server 6
I try to compact a database but an error message tell me this file doesn't exist.

How can I verify that this database is corrupted or not?
if it is corrupted how to recover it?

thank's

Hello,
I would first try and open it via your Notes client. Then I would run a fixup (see admin guide for switches) via the Domino console. If that doesn't work, you could try and replace the design with the correct template. If all else fails, restore from tape. Hope this helps.

Rgds,

John

Another thing that you can try, that has worked for me, is to make a new copy of the database in question and see if that one opens up with no problems. If it does, delete the original and copy the new one back to the original location.
