How to use Windows mpeg2 plugin in JMF?

Does anyone know how to use a native windows XP plugin (mpeg2) in JMF? My mpeg2 plugin was installed when I installed WinDVD (so now I can play DVD for instance with using Windows Media Player). But can the same plugin be used to play DVD from JMF? Do I need to register it somehow into JMF?

Thanks for any suggestions.
