I have an unbound field on a print control form and I require the contents of this field to print on a report. I don't know how to refer to the form field from within the report. Might I have to create a temporary table to hold the text so as to be accessible to both the field and report or is there a way to refer to the form field directly within the report please??

Hi!

As long as the form is open when you run the report, the ordinary syntax is:

[tt]=forms!YourFormName!YourTextControlName[/tt]

in the report controls (textbox) controlsource (access will add the needed [brackets]).
