I am using Presentation Server 3.0 with web interface.

So I modified the appsrv.ini (on my client), writing
"persistentcacheenabled=On" and
"Persistentcachepath=myserverseconddrive\citrix\cache"

On my configuration, myserverseconddrive is I:

I launch a Citrix published application.

I check in myserverseconddrive\citrix\cache: nothing.

It seems the cache setting doesn't work.

Did I miss something?

Thanks.

The path for your cache should be on a local drive of the client, not on the server if I'm understanding your description.

I don't think so because we have clients on foreign sites and using a cache on clients means would mean:
Citrix server- foreign client- Citrix server

Which would be a bad solution concerning the speed.

So I would like the cache to be on the Citrix server (on its second drive).

The purpose of a bitmap cache is to help speed up screen rendering. If the bitmaps are on the server how is that going to help the user experience?

You are right Koonan.

I test again with a client drive.
