I am Win 2000 pro user and I don't have admin access to my PC. I recently installed a software - Synkronizer (macro in MS Excel), and by mistake I double clicked the exe and now its not allowing me to use, saying your trial period is over. Is there any way we can change the date and use this software. I just wanted to get familar with it before buying. Can anyone help on this???

Most shareware I have seen will let you use it past the trial period with a lot of nagging.

If it will not let you use it at all, you might try uninstalling it and reinstalling it or perhaps try contacting the software company that published the software to see if they can help you...

Cheers!

You can try and roll the date back on your PC, but once it expires it usually does not work. Unistall and reinstall another trial version.

If un/reinstall doesn't work, then there's most likely something, somewhere in the vastness of the registry indicating your trial has expired. If you're lucky, it may be identifiable by the name of the company or name of the software. But this is starting to sound dodgy (getting around shareware protection) so I'll stop at that.

As mentioned, if there is another trial version available (newer version, older version), that may work.

Otherwise, if you really want this software but aren't ready to buy it, you're stuck with reinstalling Windows or installing a separate Windows partition.
