How to Use Selection Formula in ASP.Net(Beta 2)

Can any body tell me the way how to use Selection Formula Specifically in ASP.Net when we want to view a report developed in Crystal report8.
I hav eused the Selection Formula in the normal Way but the report is always displayed Empty.
Pls Help Me
