I'm going to use the same footer layout on several reports.

The fields in the footer is global variables which I move to fields on the report in the footers OnFormat event.

I have tried to make a report with my my layout in the footer section, and then add this form as a subform on an other form, but it does not work.

Can anybody tell me how I can use the sam format on several reports, but just having the layout/code i one place ?

There is no facility in Access to do what you are attempting.
The best you can do is make a 'master' report laid out the way you want it and then use that as the start of each real report you want to create.

Make the Footer a seperate report and place in in the PageFooter section of any report as a subreport. It cannot/shoulf not be a header/footer/group section as the initial report, but just he detail section w.o page header / footer; report header / footer etc. IF it needs to get info from your "main" report(s), you need to also do hte link master / child fields. Also, you cannot place page number info in these, as they will only ever know their page number (which is always one). You can, however, place pagenumber info in hidden controls on the mail report and populate an unbound text box with the contents of the hidden text box from the parent form in the on format event of the footer.
