Hi all,

Probably looking right at it but I'm having problems setting up a "send as" function for a users mailbox.

I want user A to send mail out as if he were User B, I've set up the appropriate permissions in ADUC for the mailbox, but I can't see how I do it on the Outlook client... I go to create a new mail and I don't see any options to select User B's account ??

anyone shed any light on it please

thanks !

the setting is in the view menu when you start a new email - once used it will appear everytime you start a new msg.

it's a real B&st*rd cos i lose it all the time and forget where it is....

did this sort it?

No Pain No Gain

yer, that sorted it

Create a new message, then View, then click on the FROM field

I was having trouble because I had hidden the mailbox I wanted to "send as" from the global address list.. DOH

it has to be visable to select it

cheers !!!

if you need it hidden then you could probably just type in the email address instead of a "friendly" name, it won't resolve the name if the mailbox is hidden but i think it will let you send mail as the user -

not sure if this will work ok...

No Pain No Gain
