how to use pager notification when job is done

Hello ,

I want to use the pager notification when a job is done.
How can i do this , i want to send an sms to my mobile.
Must the server be connected to a phone line or is internet access enough and how then to sent it ?
Any help would be grate

Mobile companies provide you with a way to email phones just as a regular email to a pop server. So you can simply send a email to the phone for a page. This is how I've done it and it works well.

SQL can't send SMS directly. As onpnt said, get the actual email address for your phone, and have the SQL Server send an email to that email address.
