Hello...
I have a dll installed in Windows2000 Server at COM+.
I exported the dll to an application proxy, to install it in windows98 clients. I would like to know if is there a way to execute the installation with commands.
I know that the msiexec program can execute a msi installation. But, I didn't find the program in the clients.
I copied the file from the Server and tried to execute it in client, but the program didn't execute. I received an error message:
Can't find the package or the package is not valid.
How Could I execute the installation with commands?

Thank you, Nandov.

Hi, i think that you only can install a proxy application is in a W2K or an XP, not over a W9x.
You should instantiate your com+ components on the w2000 server using Dcom or RDS. (CreateRemoteComObject in Delphi)
