I already posted this question, but it has dissappeared and I cannot get my responses. So, here I go again. I am looking into getting involved with Linux and have now clue where to start. I have been in the profession for about 5 yrs, but has been mostly Windows plateforms. I am trying to get corner with security and seems like there is alot of reference to Linux and Unix (similar right??) Any information on how I can get some knowledge of Linux would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There are alot of places you can get that kind of information.
I suggest you check out the following websites:
(the Linux Documentation Project)
securityfocus.com
(Unix Guru Universe)
linux.ittoolbox.com/ (ITtoolbox Linux)
security.ittoolbox.com (ITtoolbox Security) An infinite number of monkey typing at an infinite number of keyboards will eventually populate the internet.
