For win-nt we have mts comes as a utility in nt option pack.
How can I insatll the same on win2000 as NT option Pack 4.0 does not work there

Install Component Services. It is part of the W2K and I thought it was installed automatically. If it isn't just install IIS as it need it and will install it.

Access it via Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Component Services

Since Component Services are part of W2K/XP they are not designed to be installed/uninstalled by the user. Installing IIS just add additional COM+ components.

I also want MTS on Win2k Professional. I did install the win2k additional components and got msmq and IIS5, but when I try to get Visual Interdev 6.0(from VS6.0 SP5) into debug mode, it tells me it can't do it because it needs to make an mts package and can't. If I look in the Services list, I see msmq and pws, but not mts.

Actually, MTS is replaced by Component Services in Win 2000 series and there is no need to install MTS on Win 2000, component service perform the same functionality which was done by MTS in win-nt.
