I have three home computers networked. I have installed FileMaker Server on the main computer. I have built a filemaker Pro document that I eventually want to sell. But I have to work out the bugs first. I want to act like a company network Intranet. I want the main document to reside on my main computer. Then I can go to the other computer pull it up fill out the form and then close it. Will I be able to do this and how? Hope it is not too much info.

Basically I want to have my home network act like a company Intranet so I can troubleshoot my program. Thank you.

If you're using FileMaker Server, your databases don't need to be set for multi-user. The server software can be set for "enable sharing of single user files". Doing it this way prevents yo from accidentally sharing files if you open them outside the server environment.

Your document goes in server 5.5 folder.

If you have regular filemaker client installed on a networked computer you open filemaker go to file/open/hosts and yor shared file shuld be there.
