Is there a way to create automatic bar graphs with data taken directly from an Access data field?

We have about 12 projects in various stages of completion. We would like to add input the percentage of completion (0-100)% in a field and have a bar graph chart automatically created. This can be in Access or using PowerPoint or Word.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

There is a chart control that you can drop onto an Access form or report. The chart control has a row source property which is the query of your data you wish to chart.

Thanks dhookom,

I am somewhat new to this part of Access. How do I get to the chart control to enter the "row source"?

Mark's links seem to be good information but possibly not real relevant to a new use in Access.

Prior to creating your graph you should create a query that contains the exact records and values you want to graph. Then drop a chart control on your form or report and step through the wizard selecting your query. You can always modify chart properties after you are done.
