How to use a Bar Code Reader in VB

Well iam into a new realm of programming wherein i am required to get the input from a Bar Code reader and feed it in the database.
Can anybody give me a detailed process as to how can i acomplish the same.

Hi,

Either the manufacturer of the reader or Microsoft will have a driver that you can load into your computer and configure to use with various applications like Access, Excel or Word.
