How to update HijackThis?

Hi Experts,

Norton said I got C:\Recycled\Q330995.exe....but why HijackThis cannot find it?
Perhaps I need to update HijackThis?
In HijackThis window, I just cannot find any button or link for me to check if I need to update it or not.
Can you tell me how to update HijackThis?

Yes, I have downloaded HijackThis 1.99.
I still keep C:\Recycled\Q330995.exe so that I can try updated HijackThis.
Unfortunately, this updated HijackThis still cannot find Q330995.exe.....I found many people posted HijackThis log including Q330995.exe....why my HijackThis cannot find it??

Hijack this shows programs that are running right now, not programs that exist on the HD

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

googling on that file--It looks like the times when it shows up in a hijackthis log is as part of an O16 line.
What it looks to me like is if the O16 line has been fixed, the file will not show in a hijackthis log even though it may still be present on the computer. It looks like av scans such as TrendMicro may still show it though.

Can you tell me how to update HijackThis?

Start HJT
Click on Open the Misc Tools section
Click on Check for update online (you may have to maximize the window to see the button)
