I just upsized my Access database file to SQL7.0 server. It is strange that I can not manipulate data in the table on the front end. The message is "the recordset is not updatable. I make some changes on the corresponding table in SQL server to allow update, insert, and select. Unfortnately it still does not work. I would like to know why and how to manipulate table just like we are using Access mdb file.

I know the ADP file is not shared, but I do not know what it means. If I want to many users to access the data using Project, how to do that. Do I need to create a pdf file for each user?

If I want the data to be accessed on the web, I should not care the front part (ACCESS project). I just need to access the database on the SQL, is that right.

Thanks

If you do not have a primary key defined in your SQL Server tables, it wont be updtable via Access.

This recordset not updatable has been driving me nuts for 3 days now... Thank you sir
