Hi I'm new to the forum, and am coming back to programming Nortel PBX's after many years away. I am looking for some help with updating the external phone number that is call forwarded from a phantom TN.

Using LD 20 I found the existing TN and the phantom TN associated with the external call forwarded number. The user is no longer employed with us, and a new employee is taking over that extension. I can't find where to change the external forwarded number to the new employee's cell phone number. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Req:CHG
Type: 500
TN: xx xx xx xx
ECHG: yes
Item: DCFW X yyyyyyy (X= number of digits in forward to number, y= destination number including external access code)

Good luck

I recently posted this on a different thread a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully the part lower down will explain what you need to do.

############################################################

The phantom loops are set up in LD 97, and these days the format will probably be based on the large switch format, but I have added in the older Option 11c guide for reference.

The Phantom TN is built in the same way as a standard 500 analogue set, but a few minor differences.

You need to have the following CLS set,
CFXA if the forwarded DN is external
SFA for allow more than one number at a time to be forwwarded
FNA to allow the DN to be changed by using the RCFA FFC feature.
SCPW to be set when using the RCFA FFC feature.

When adding in the set, make sure under "FTR" that you have DCFW following by the number of digits to be dialed and then the actual number to be forwarded.

Here is an example below of a Phantom DN

DES PAGERS
TN 063 0 00 02 PHANTOM

In you case, you already have the Phantom DN configured and you have two choices.

If the SPCW passcode is already set along with CLS = FNA and that you have a FFC code for RCFA in LD 57, then you can change the destination from any phone connected to the phone system by entering in the RCFA FFC code followed by the DN and SCPW and then the new destination number and end it with #.

From the command line, just go into LD 10 and do a change such as this example below

>LD 10
REQ: CHG
TYPE: 500
TN 063 0 00 02
ECHG YES
ITEM FTR DCFW 4 7000
FTR (C/R)

Print it off again to see if the changes were made OK.
