I have a Windows 2000 advanced server which was configured as the only server in the network. Hence it is the domain controller.

I tried implementing ICS with the server in the past but failed miserably. So what I did was I installed a Windows 98 workstation with ICS and it worked wonders.

Two weeks ago, the Windows 98 workstation broke down due to virus and I tried reinstalling it again. However, this time I get the error message "Internet connection sharing have been disabled. Please make sure that only one ICS is installed in the home network."

I never got this error message when I tried this last year. I am confused why I am getting this message now.

Any advice or tips from the experts will be deeply appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
