How to unhide folders and views

I have created a folder an I have hidden it (put the name between brackets). Now I have to modify the folder but I am not able to access the design option, it is gray . I guess I have to unhide the folder to get access to modify it. Can anybody help me with that ?

Not a question of hidden or not, you need the Notes Designer client installed on you PC to access it.
Either that, or you do not have the requisite level of access (Designer) to the db that has the element.
